ROTC offers English Courses. The Maritime English Programme is in accordance with IMO Model Course 3.17. The program is well suited to acquire the communication requirements as laid down in the relevant sections of the IMO International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 1978, as amended)

Prerequisites
  • Having Basic English comprehension skills is a necessity;
  • Basic computer skills;

Additional Information
  • Training is provided in Portuguese and/or English;
  • Courses will be executed at the premises of ROTC in Pemba, courses may also be
    executed in-company or at an alternative training location;
  • Accommodation could be arranged onsite at ROTC Pemba;
  • Participants successfully completing the course will receive a ROTC Certificate of Proficiency.
